Trump Media and Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social and backed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, is making a strategic push into the cryptocurrency sector. CEO Devin Nunes announced on April 29 that the firm is developing a utility token, TruthPlus, alongside a dedicated digital wallet to facilitate transactions within its Truth+ video streaming platform.

The token will serve as a payment method for Truth+ subscriptions, with potential future applications across the broader Truth ecosystem. The initiative aims to create a seamless, blockchain-integrated experience for users, reinforcing Trump Media’s vision of a self-contained digital economy.
